Adding a new variable to your documents in Fidu is simple! Follow these steps, and you'll have your variable up and running in no time.

  1. Navigate to the Productize Section
Start from your Fidu dashboard and head over to the Productize section. From there, select the document where you want to add your new variable.

  2. Access the Questionnaire
Once you're in the document, switch over to the Questionnaire section. This is where you'll create a new question that will generate the variable for your document.

  3. Add a New Question
Create a new question by clicking the "Add Question" button. For example, if you want to add a variable for an email address, you can type "Add your email address" as the question. Then, assign a variable name like recipient_email for easy reference.

  4. Save and Return to the Document Section
Once you’ve added your question and assigned a variable, save your changes. Now, go back to the Document section where you’ll see your new variable listed under the section where you added the question. In the document, locate the spot where you want to place the new variable. Simply click on the variable, and it will be inserted into the document.
