Overview

Welcome to your Fidu Client Portal! This secure platform is designed to help you collaborate with your firm, stay on top of projects, and communicate efficiently without having to rely on your inbox. Depending on how your firm has set up Fidu, you may see some (or all) of the features described below.

1. The Client Dashboard

  • Current & Additional Projects: On your Client Dashboard, you’ll see any active projects you have with the firm. You may also spot options to add or request new projects.

  • Progress at a Glance: Get a quick overview of your projects, including any upcoming tasks or deliverables.

2. Working with Projects

  • Project Details: Clicking on any project takes you to its dedicated page, where you can see your next steps or requirements.

  • Mark as Complete: When you finish a task, check it off to keep your firm in the loop and maintain progress.

  • Collaboration: Your firm will update tasks and activities here. This keeps everyone on the same page to complete projects more efficiently.

3. Firm Overview

  • Firm Information: Some firms provide an overview page with policies, FAQs, and other resources.

  • Scheduling Calls: If enabled, this page may also let you book appointments with your firm, ensuring you get the support you need.

4. Messaging & Communication

  • Secure Messaging: The Messages tab is where all communication with your firm takes place, safely and confidentially.

  • Writing Messages: It’s much like sending an email. Format your text, attach files (if allowed by the firm), and keep track of threads in one place.

  • Inbox Organization:

    • Snooze: Set a reminder to come back to a message later.

    • Archive: When you’re done, archive messages to keep your inbox clear.

  • Notifications: You’ll receive an email alert whenever there’s a new message. Simply click the link in the notification, log in, and head to the Messages tab to reply.

5. Booking a Call

  • Meeting Links: Some firms enable a Book Meeting option. If you see it, click the button to schedule a time using the firm’s preferred meeting platform.

  • Calendar Sync: The meeting details will typically sync to your personal calendar, ensuring you don’t miss important calls.

6. Managing Your Account

  • Account Settings: Under your name (usually in the top-right corner), you can update your password or log out.

  • Security: Keep your credentials safe and remember to log out when you’re done, especially on shared devices.
